Google and updating of the mark
By early 2009, Google said it would be an upgrade from the mark, giving sites more authority and power rating. This has also affected the sector in the UK. But is this a good thing? Or is that Google has made a mistake huge this time?
I understand why Google has implemented this and it is simply to obtain reliable results for the search term and long tail competitive. But is this the easiest and simplest option for them? Sometimes I think that SEO has become so vast and so well developed that Google is running out of ideas on how to continue with it and how to classify the sites into reality.
A huge proportion of the algorithms is dependent on the links. Links have become so valuable and they are flying all over the place. There are websites, so many that are ranking so high and not even deserve to be there? Or do they? One of the reasons why I write this article simply because they simply disagree with the updating of the brand. I'm trying to say is Why would a brand deserves a great ranking for not bothering to fix your site?
The way I see things is that if small businesses are making the effort and work on your site every day, the ultimatley are the ones that deserve the ranking. Is an ethical business practice works, I say that puts more in to make the most profit.
Again, as a quick example, if we look at the automotive industry will realize that Google has brought to all manufacturers as Ford, Volkswagen, Fiat, Toyota, Audi and many more, and if you look at all their websites, the SEO is shocking.
A lot of people wonder how Google class brand, personally I think it can be a manual setting and literally would not be so difficult. If we take another look the automotive industry, how many manufacturers are in reality? Not as much as you would have though of what Google is doing is bigger than ranking them simply do not deserve.
Personally I think the update of the mark was a simple solution for Google, to tidy up the results they have done this but maybe going to lose by choosing this route. Infact should be taking the time to hire SEO real life, to know how current patterns related activities. It seems like they have no idea what people are using the methods, because if they did all take a little programming to clean a large part of the results.
